Joanna Lumley’s Japan 2016
The British actress goes on a 2,000 mile journey across the four main islands of Japan, travelling from North to South meeting local people and absorbing the culture.

Joanna enjoys a panoramic view of Tokyo from a helicopter, while at night she visits a nightclub in the metropolis. The next day finds her wandering the ancient Nakasendo Way.
Starting from a Buddhist pilgrimage on the island of Shikoku, Joanna heads to Kyushu, where she stays in the world’s first robot hotel.
